Industry Operators: How to List, Search and Filter

This guide will walk you through efficiently listing, searching, and filtering industry operators in Hubspot. From accessing the CRM section to utilising advanced filters, you will streamline your ability to navigate Industry Operators with these step-by-step instructions.

Go to app.hubspot.com

1. Click "CRM"

Access the CRM section.

Click 'CRM'

2. Click "Industry Operators"

Navigate to the Industry Operators section.

Click 'Industry Operators'

3. Industry Operators Grid

This presents a grid of all Industry Operators. At the bottom of the grid you can choose a page number or select Next to look through the list. You may also choose how many Industry Operators appear in the grid. The current setting is 100 per page.

4. Navigate to the next page in the list

You can choose to navigate to the second and third pages of Industry Operators for example. To hone in on the Operator(s) of interest, you may choose to use the search option. See below.

5. Using Search to find Industry Operators

Initiate a search operation by clicking in the search bar at the top of the grid. The search bar only searches for matches against Operator Name.

6. Example: Find All Operators with "lodge" in their name

Enter "lodge" into the search bar.

7. Remove the Search and see all Operators again

Select the X in the search bar to remove the search filter and see all operators

8. Using Advanced Filters

Advanced Filters allow you to refine your list based on any fields available in the Industry Operator record. Select "Advanced filters".

9. Example: Refine your list of Operators by "Activity / Tour Type"

In this example, we will select all Operators with an Activity/ Tour Type of "Fishing". You may select multiple fields to refine your view. Your options are: 1. "is any of" - select records that have this/these values I have chosen. 2. "is none of" - select records EXCEPT those that have this/these values. 3. "is known" - select records that have a value (any value) in this field. 4. "is unknown" - select records that do NOT have a value in this field, i.e. their blank.

In this example, we will choose Activity/Tour Type "is any of" "Fishing". Once you choose the filter type click in the drop down immediately below to select from your options.

Immediately, the grid is updated and you can choose the X in the top right corner to close the Advanced Filter options and work with your results

13. Click "Clear all"

When you have finished working with your filtered options you can choose Clear All to reset the grid to show all available Operators.
